Miguel Cotto Vs Antonio Margarito II: CANCELED

By Geno McGahee

The proposed rematch was all set for September 17th between Miguel Cotto, 36-2, 29 KO’s, and Antonio Margarito, 38-7, 28 KO’s, but it has been officially canceled. RSR was just informed that Margarito cannot go forward with the fight due to injuries sustained at the hands of Manny Pacquiao, along with several other undisclosed problems, preventing him from moving forward. It was explained to RSR that retirement looks like the option that Margarito may be forced to take.

Cotto is not without a partner, however, as he awaits Julio Cesar Chavez, JR., should he get beyond his opponent, Sebastian Zbik.

Are you looking forward to Cotto Vs Chavez JR?
