Andre Ward to Help Call Carl Froch Vs. Glen Johnson
Andre Ward will join the SHOWTIME® broadcast team for the live telecast this Saturday, June 4 (9 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the West Coast) that features a Super Six World Boxing Classic Semifinal fight between WBC Super Middleweight champion Carl Froch and Glen Johnson. The undefeated Ward, the WBA 168-pound champion and last Olympic Games gold medalist from the United States, will face the winner of Saturday’s Froch-Johnson high stakes scrap from Atlantic City in the Final of the Super Six World Boxing Classic. Ward (24-0, 13 KOs), of Oakland, Calif., will sit ringside with SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING.
