Orlando Salido Set to Face Mike Oliver
No immediate Juanma rematch. WBO featherweight champion Orlando “Siri” Salido will defend his belt against Mike “Machine” Oliver (24-2-0, 8 KOs) at the Multipurpose Center (CUM) in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico on July 23. The official announcement was made Wednesday at a press conference. Salido shocked the boxing world last April by knocking out and dethroning Puerto Rican superstar Juan Manuel “Juanma” Lopez. The bout will be televised in Mexio by TV Azteca and internationally by Fox Sports.
