Devon Alexander, 21-1, 13 KO’s, is looking to rebound after his terrible losing performance against Timothy Bradley. Alexander timid and unable to find the mark against the aggressive and quick Bradley and now faces a slow, methodical power-puncher in Lucas Martin Matthysse, 28-1, 26 KO’s.
The story of the fight is simple. Alexander wins a decision or Matthysse finds the mark and wins by stoppage. The most likely scenario is Alexander comes out with the win. An older Zab Judah was able to outbox the slower Matthysse, but if that timid side of Alexander shows up, we could be in for a stoppage win for the underdog.
