Money in the Bank: WWE’s John Cena, CM Punk & Vince McMahon GET RAW

By Kevin Nelson

Last week’s edition of RAW took place in Las Vegas. The show starts with John Cena talking about CM Punk’s comments made last week and how Vince McMahon should have not suspended him and that although he disagrees with what he said, this is America and everyone has the right to an opinion.

Cena would demand a face to face with Mr. McMahon to talk to him about reinstating CM Punk. Also announced was a three way match with Rey Mysterio, R Truth and Alberto Del Rio to determine the number one contender for money in the bank.

The first match of the evening was a tag team match with Kelly Kelly and Eve facing the Bella twins. Kelly Kelly would get the pin with her K2 leg drop. The following match was a tag team match with the champions David Otunga and Mike Mcgillicuddy facing Vladimir Kozlov and Santino Marella. The WWE champs would retain the belts.

Jack Swagger faced WWE hall of famer Sgt. Slaughter who vowed to teach Swagger about being a real all American. Swagger would get the victory but that wasn’t enough for him as he trapped Sgt. Slaughter in an ankle lock, but Evan Bourne would come to Slaughter’s rescue and together they would recite the pledge of allegiance with the fans.

The following match was for the right to face John Cena after punk was suspended. Alberto Delrio would get the victory over Mysterio and Truth after locking on a submission on Mysterio he was forced to tap as Del Rio is the number one contender. Since it is America’s birthday it stands to reason it should be Dolph Ziggler’s birthday as well.

Vicki Guerrero would declare Dolph the greatest sports entertainer in the world. As the celebration continued Koffi Kingston would crash the party and Vicki would leave the ring covered in cake. The following match would be Alex Riley facing The Miz and Riley would once again be victorious over Miz. The Miz was infuriated and assaulted Riley.

Next was John Cena calling out Mr McMahon and he showed up in the ring and Cena talked about how he defeated Ted Turner and how thin skinned Mr. McMahon was in suspending CM Punk. Vince replied that he suspended him not for what he said but because he does not think Cena can beat Punk and he will not allow the WWE title to leave with him. Cena then gave the belt to McMahon and turned his back on him an irate Vince yelled: “Ok but if you lose at Money in the Bank to Punk you’re Fired!”
