The WBA Lightweight Title will be on the line tonight when defending champion, Brandon Rios, 27-0-1, 20 KO’s, takes on Urbano Antillon, 28-2, 20 KO’s. Rios turned a lot of heads when he defeated the unbeaten Anthony Peterson, which propelled him into a title shot against Miguel Acosta. He would win via 10th round stoppage.

Antillon has two losses, one of which was by knockout. That knockout came at the hands of Miguel Acosta, a common opponent for both men. If you go strictly by the comparison with Rios winning by knockout and Antillon losing by knockout, you have to favor the champion but styles make fights and this will be two powerhouses trading blows and anything can happen.

The fight will air live on Showtime tonight.
