A grizzly bear that was with her cub attacked a group of seven teenagers that were partaking in a survival skills course, severely injuring two members of the group. The course spanned over the course of 30 days and was at the tail end of it when the bear attacked.

The bear was spotted at first at around 8:30 PM on Saturday, but would attack on Sunday, mauling two teenagers that were closest to the animal. The two teens were mauled but are still alive and recovering. This is the second time that a bear mauling has made the news recently. The first resulted in a death.
