Tampa Student PLANNED TO BLOW UP SCHOOL – POLICE REPORT IN – NEW DETAILS

A 17 year old had planned to blow up Freedom High School in Tampa, Florida, on the very first day of school, but the police stopped it before it started. Jared Cano, a 17 year old kid that was expelled from school had threatened to plant the device that would prove “catastrophic,” in his own words.

Last night, the police discovered a journal and materials to make pipe bombs which included a fuel source, shrapnel, plastic tubing, and fusing devices. According to reports, he was serious about his plan. Officials say that he had drawings of the school rooms and statements about his intentions to kill.
