Naim Muhammad, a man accused of drowning his two young sons yesterday is being held on capital murder charges. According to authorities, he abducted his 5 year old and 3 year old son as they walked home with their mother and drowned them both.

According to police reports, Muhammad forced his children and their mother into his car by threatening them with a brick. His wife would jump out of the car at an intersection when she was a police officer drive up. She ran to the police and told him what was going on.

Muhammad’s mother, Naimah Muhammad, called 911 later on and reported that her grandchildren had drowned. Her son brought her to the bodies at a nearby creek.

Muhammad, 32, has a long history of run-ins with the police, some of which are violent felonies. He has convictions for marijuana possession and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Hopefully the system will work and they will put an end to this complete piece of garbage.
