Grandmother PLEADS INSANITY: DEATH OF TODDLER MAY GO UNPUNISHED

A grandmother in Virginia is on trial for tossing her 2 year old granddaughter off of an elevated walkway at a shopping center on November 29th. Carmela Dela Rosa’s trial is getting started with the jury selection beginning today.

Dela Rosa dropped her granddaughter, Angelyn Ogdoc, 50 feet to her death, an incident that occurred directly after a family outing. She has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, with her lawyer stating that his client suffers from mental illness.

The prosecution dismisses these claims, believing that she knew what she was doing. It is another sad case of a child being killed. Stay tuned…
