Michael Jackson Trial BEGINS – Conrad Murray FIGHTS BACK

By Geno McGahee

The death of Michael Jackson hit many very hard. In fact, there are many that think that the “King of Pop” faked his death, which if true, should throw this case right out. I don’t necessarily buy that Jackson is alive and neither does the state and that is why Dr. Conrad Murray is on trial for involuntary manslaughter.

The trial got underway today, and a recording was played of Jackson, which had Murray sobbing at the defense table. The family of Jackson, Joe, Katherine, Janet, Latoya, Jermaine, and Randy were in attendance today.

The prosecution began by saying that “That misplaced trust cost Michael Jackson his life.” The prosecution would speak to the jury for an hour, showing a photo of the deceased Jackson, followed by an audio recording of the star, six weeks prior to his death.

“That is what Conrad Murray is seeing and observing on May 10th, 2009,” the prosecution noted after playing the recording. “And what does he do with that knowledge and information? On May 12th, he orders another shipment of propofol and midazolam.”

Katherine Jackson cried during the first day of trial, as the rest of the Jackson family sat there quietly and watched on. The defense is arguing that Jackson is himself to blame, taking enough drugs to put six people to sleep.

The trial has just begun and the people have mobbed the courthouse and the media is in a frenzy. It’s Casey Anthony all over again. Expect this to dominate the news for some time to come.
