Kurt Angle UFC DEAL: TNA/WWE SHOCKER – BREAKING NEWS

Kurt Angle, the current TNA wrestling champion is set to defend his title at the pay per view “Bound for Glory,” but he now admits that he was very close to a deal with Dana White for a run in the UFC. On two different occasions, Angle sat down with White to iron out a deal and they just couldn’t agree to a starting date, but there was an opponent selected.

The man that Dana had in mind was the backyard brawler, Kimbo Slice. Angle had agreed but Dana wanted to bring in Angle when he felt unprepared and the deal fell apart, and Angle remained in pro wrestling and Kimbo ran his deal out in the UFC, but had the cards been different, we would have been treated to a novelty match to remember.
