Brock Lesnar Vs Alistair Overeem IN JEOPARDY – UFC 141 MAIN EVENT CHANGE

By Vinnie Franklin

Former UFC champ, Brock Lesnar, 4-2, is set to face off on December 30th with former Strikeforce champ, Alistair Overeem, making his UFC debut, but the Nevada State Athletic Commission tried to throw a wrench in the works. Frank Mir is reportedly on the sidelines, waiting just in case this guy is denied.

A conditional license has been given to Overeem, but it includes two post fight drug screen orders to be completed no less than six months after the bout. There is also a pre-fight drug test and let’s hope that the guy passes. This match is so hyped that Dana White won’t allow it to crumble away.

Overeem failed to comply with the out of competition testing order, but things are being ironed out and he will face Lesnar on the 30th. This stuff on the side may just be the distraction that Lesnar needs to pull off the upset and get back on track to make some serious green in the cage.
