Julio Cesar Chavez JR – Marco Antonio Rubio – BOXING RESULTS

Julio Cesar Chavez, JR., 45-0-1, 31 KO’s, used his muscle to pin Marco Antonio Rubio, 53-6-1, 46 KO’s, against the ropes and land his shots. Head to head the two fighters slugged away, winning a wide unanimous decision by scores of 118-110, 116-112 and 115-113.

Rubio couldn’t push the 181 pound Chavez off. Chavez continues to improve and did prove that he had a good chin, taking some big punches from a proven puncher in Rubio. Rubio wasn’t able to get off with his shots because of the smothering attack of Chavez, JR. He fought a very smart fight.
