Shah out, Teammate Jones in Against Yorgey

Citing illness due to the flu, Zain “Tiger” Shah has pulled out of his scheduled six-round fight against “Lightning” Harry Joe Yorgey. He will be replaced by his LA Boxing teammate Lawrence Jones, who defeated Jose Felix in his last fight held at the Patriot Center on September 10, 2011. A popular trainer at LA Boxing, Jones will be fighting for the fifth time in front of hometown supporters at the Patriot Center.

Savior Replaced with Scarecrow in Battle with The Rock

In another change to the card, the rematch between Juan “Savior” Rodriguez and Richie “The Rock” Andrews has fallen out. However, undefeated Kevin “The Scarecrow” Womack, Jr. (2-0) of Baltimore has stepped in to face unbeaten Stuarts Draft, VA fighter Andrews (3-0-3) in a four-round Maryland vs. Virginia bout.

Fans Invited to Friday’s Weigh-In at Brion’s Grille

Meet all 14 fighters as they step on the scales for the Official Weigh-In starting at Noon this Friday, Feb. 10 at Brion’s Grille (www.brionsgrille.com) in Fairfax. Fans, not worrying about making weight, can enjoy the area’s best all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for only $8.95 per person.

Grand Revival Rocks the Official After Party

Live music debuts at a Jimmy Lange Boxing event when Northern Virginia rock band, Grand Revival, opens with a set at 6:15pm before returning later to perform at the Official After Party. Influenced by bands such as Black Stone Cherry, Lynyrd Synyrd and Alice in Chains, the band will perform on the concourse. All fans are invited to the After Party.
