When it comes to the UFO gatherings I attend, which are rare, I often am asked about Bob Lazar, a man that claimed to have worked at Area 51. He was a physicist at an area called S-4, and back-engineered alien crafts, or that was the contention.
Initially, I was introduced to a supposed friend of Lazar, when his popularity was at a peak and he contended that Lazar was a good liar and could read people very well. He would tell you what you wanted to hear and could tell a good story. I was a little put off by the pushiness of this friend. Now, some of you know my credentials and others do not. I’m not the sort of individual that goes on many television programs, but I have been quoted in many books and everything I have said is verifiable. I am a man that is often sought out by those that are inquisitive about aliens and UFOs and I’m also a man that is respected in my community. So, should I say that Lazar is a liar, most would believe that he is a liar. Not so fast.
The biggest thing that people hold against Lazar is his misrepresentation of his education. When I spoke to Lazar years ago (mid 1990s), he implied that he was quite concerned about the pressure now put upon him and that he wasn’t entirely sure how the people would take him if he didn’t present something respectable. His education has been questioned and several news sources have noted that through an investigation, they have determined that he was not being truthful. Keep in mind that Area 51 denied that he worked for them, they had no record of him, and that he was lying, but Lazar proved them wrong. I’m not saying with certainty that he was being totally honest about his education, but I don’t think we dismiss him entirely because of it.
Lazar said the magic number when he said “9” in regards to the different discs. My friend, a former high ranking military official, once stated that there were nine different sorts of crafts recovered that he knew of. When I asked him about Lazar, he noted that: “He seems to know a little bit much for a liar. I think he either has somebody on the inside or was that somebody.”
The interview that he did with George Knapp was the minute that those in the community and media began discrediting him. He noted his work directly with the saucers, and the use of “Element 115,” an atomic fuel.
He spoke of the “Greys,” which is something you need to believe if you are to believe Lazar. Many that I speak to are skeptical immediately because they don’t believe that we are being visited, but I can tell you, from my own experiences, that we are and that the Greys have and are visiting.
Recent trouble with the law has raised some eyebrows, but my friend Bill Cooper dealt with this nonsense and when a group holds all the playing cards, they can dictate the way that the game goes. If they want you to be a murderer, they will create that scenario. You have to be a good boy and shut up or the fist will come down and squash you.
Two things that make me lean toward Lazar’s account being one of fact is that he, one, gave very accurate reports on the workings of the saucers, matching nearly identically to what I have been told by high ranking military officials. The other was my conversation with him. I can tell when I’m being sold a line and Lazar seemed scared of what he knew but certain that it was the truth.
