Paul Williams: SPEED WAS THE REASON FOR TRAGIC MOTORCYCLE CRASH – BOXING NEWS

By Geno McGahee

Paul Williams, the former world boxing champion, may never walk again after his terrible motorcycle crash. Williams crashed into an embankment on Sunday, landing on his back and head. His manager, George Peterson, noted that his boxer was paralyzed and has no movement from the waist down.

Williams suffered a severed spinal cord when he was thrown from his bike. Marietta police said in a statement today that “Williams was driving at a high rate of speed, which was too fast for conditions.” He was unable to negotiate a curve and the bike smashed into the embankment.

Reports indicate that Williams is in good spirits and plans to battle this situation with the same courage that he showed in his boxing career. RSR will keep you updated on the progress of “The Punisher.”
