Na Cola Franklin, 31, was ready to marry her hubby, Billy Brewster, 36, but the night before they were set to wed, she would grab a kitchen knife and stab him to death, shocking their friends and families.

The two were not known to fight and one neighbor noted that they had never even heard them argue. A witness to the crime, Monique Kali, stated to the authorities that the two were going out to get some food when they began arguing. Franklin grabbed a knife and stabbed Brewster twice in the chest with it, puncturing his heart and killing him.

Kali tackled Franklin and the weapon was knocked out of her hand. During this crime, there were four children inside of the apartment.

In court, Franklin rocked back and forth and stated that she wanted to “go home,” and that she “didn’t kill him on purpose.” The reason why she killed her husband appears to be just blind rage mixed with anxiety over the wedding. The mental capacity of Franklin should be examined as this inevitably goes to trial.
