Roman Martinez Vs Juan Carlos Burgos: BOXING BREAKDOWN – Saturday Night HBO Showdown

Saturday night, WBO super featherweight champion, Roman Martinez, 26-1-1, 16 KO’s, will defend the title against Juan Carlos Burgos, 30-1, 20 KO’s, as part of an HBO triple header.

Martinez picked up the title in his last fight, eking by Miguel Beltran, JR., by split decision. He hopes to win more definitively against the very tough challenge of Burgos.

Burgos picked up the WBO Latino super featherweight title in his last fight with a third round destruction of the then undefeated, Cesar Vazquez. He has won five straight fights since his sole defeat to Hozumi Hasegawa, and he will be coming straight at Martinez Saturday night.

This fight will be part of a triple header that will feature Orlando Salido defending his title against Miguel Angel Garcia, and Gennady Golovkin taking on Gabriel Rosado. These are three great fights.
