Sandra Layne GUILTY – Grandmother Murder Trial Verdict: 75-Year-Old Granny Locked Up

Sandra Layne, 75, was found guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting death of her 17-year-old grandson, Jonathan Hoffman. The contention from the defense was that Sandra was a little old lady, terrorized, and had no other choice but to kill the abusive and violent teen. The jury did not buy it.

Tuesday afternoon they came back with a guilty verdict and it is safe to say that the grandmother will be locked up for the rest of her days. Hoffman’s mother and also Layne’s daughter, Jennifer Hoffman, stated that she new her son “was in heaven,” a place her mother “will never see.”
