Mike Alvarado GETS REVENGE: Brandon Rios Loses – Trilogy in Order – BOXING NEWS

Mike Alvarado, 34-1, 23 KO’s, got revenge via unanimous decision in his rematch with Brandon Rios, 31-1-1, 22 KO’s. The first two rounds began where the last fight left off with Rios dominating and hurting Alvarado, but tables turned, and Alvarado hurt Rios and was able to use his overhand right with regularity to keep Rios in his place.

Rios stalked but wasn’t able to corner and stop Alvarado, who cruised to a wide decision and well-deserved win. After the fight, the two spoke of another match, making another great boxing trilogy.
