NASCAR The Game: Inside Line (DLC) – VIDEO GAME NEWS & UPDATE

Prepare to rev up those engines because Eutechnyx and Activision today announced that the first round of  Inside Line Highlights downloadable content (DLC) is now available for  NASCAR The Game: Inside Line  on Xbox 360 and PlayStation3. The DLC features challenges from this year’s NASCAR races to relive and rewrite. Along with the highlights, the all-new set of Gen 6 paint schemes are available to purchase for all 43 drivers in the game.

The  Inside Line Highlights  packs use telemetry data to authentically recreate the top moments from NASCAR races. Players will have the opportunity to relive and rewrite the greatest moments of the 2013 season, starting with the Daytona 500 and racing till the epic finale at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. A new Highlights pack will be released after every race.*

Here are some examples of the race moments featured in the currently available DLC:

Daytona 500 Pack
Take part in the 2013 Daytona 500 and help Jeff keep cool at the start of the race, make history with Danica Patrick by leading the pack and steal Jimmies thunder by taking Dale Jr. to victory lane.

Subway Fresh Fit 500 Pack
Take to the track in the Subway Fresh Fit 500 and aid Montoya in claiming back his spot at the front of the pack, fight off all the youngsters on fresh tires as Mark Martin and snatch second place from the 48 as Denny Hamlin.

Kobalt Tools 400 Pack
Roll the dice in the Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Go three wide as Kyle Busch, get Keselowski into the top three and take part as both Kasey Kahne and Matt Kenseth in the thrilling battle for the win.

Auto Club 400 Pack
Start your engines at the Auto Club 400 and relive Jr’s charge through the pack after a bad pitstop. Race through the field as Hamlin to set up his epic battle with Logano and help Kyle take advantage of this battle to win.

Every week after a race, a new  Inside Line Highlights pack will be available in-game, using the Ticket currency on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation3. Each individual Highlights  pack will cost 20 Tickets and individual paint schemes will cost 10 Tickets.

A $24.99 (2000 MSFT points) Season Pass is also available, giving players access to the entire  Inside Line Highlights  pack as they’re released, as well as access to all of the 2013 launch Gen 6 paint schemes.
