Tyson Fury KNOCKS OUT Steve Cunningham – BOXING RESULTS

By Geno McGahee

Tyson Fury, 21-0, 15 KO’s, used his size to wear down Steve Cunningham, 25-6, 12 KO’s, stopping him with a brutal right hook in the seventh round. Cunningham came in and mixed it up, landing a right hand and dropping Fury hard in round two, but the size and mental pressure proved too much and Cunningham wore down quickly.

It was obvious that Fury was on his way to victory as the smaller man ran out of steam. The punches that Cunningham landed had less and less effect and he began to wobble from the big man’s punches.

In the seventh round, Fury hurt Cunningham with a right uppercut and then finished him with a right hook. Cunningham couldn’t make the count and the fight was over. The crowd got quite the treat at the end when Fury sang to the audience…badly but it was funny.

Fury is gearing to face Wladimir Klitschko and may face him in his next fight.  Stay tuned for full report…
