Surprise!!! Deontay Wilder, 28-0, 28 KO’s, continued destroying hopelessly overmatched opponents with a first round stoppage of the proven shot and glass-jawed Audley Harrison, 31-7, 22 KO’s. Harrison moved and pawed with his jab until Wilder lowered the boom and dropped him in the corner.

Harrison has never been short of heart. He got up, but he was done and the referee had seen enough. Wilder had initially mentioned a fight with Tony Thompson but settled with Harrison. After this display, you understand why. Wilder’s team cannot be that confident in their man to continue to match him up against this level of opposition.
