Ray Boom Boom Mancini Promotes ‘The Good Son’ at IBHOF this Thursday – Breaking Boxing News

The International Boxing Hall of Fame announced today that former WBA lightweight champion Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini will be in Canastota to promote the release of The Good Son, a film on his life and boxing career, this Thursday, August 1st. “We are very excited that ‘Boom Boom’ Mancini has included the Hall of Fame as part of the promotional tour for his film,” said Hall of Fame director Edward Brophy. “We look forward to welcoming him to ‘Boxing’s Hometown.’” Mancini will be at the Hall of Fame on Thursday, August 1st to tour the Hall of Fame Museum and its many exhibits on boxing history. Mancini will also step back into the world famous Madison Square Garden boxing ring where he successfully defended his lightweight title thirty years ago against Orlando Romero (KO 9). The public is invited to attend at 3 p.m.
