Miguel Cotto KNOCKS OUT Delvin Rodriguez: Freddie Roach Experiment Works – BOXING NEWS

Miguel Cotto, 38-4, 30 KO’s, overpowered Delvin Rodriguez, 28-7-3, 16 KO’s, and pummeled him to the floor in round three, ending the fight early and easily. Cotto was relentless, using his body work and hooks to cut off the ring and find the mark. This is the first fight under famed Manny Pacquiao trainer, Freddie Roach, but this was also the right opponent.

Rodriguez was all heart, but he didn’t have the whiskers to take the punch or the defense to avoid the incoming. It will be interesting to see what happens when Cotto steps up against a better fighter.
