The PPV fight card has started with light heavyweight, Sean Monaghan, 19-0, 12 KO’s, beating up the pudgy club fighter, Anthony Smith, 14-2, 10 KO’s, battering him into submission in the third round. Monaghan stated that he was in the top 10 of the WBA and, if that is truly the case, is very suspicious. Monaghan’s story of being a bar fighter turned prize fighter is being sold more than his abilities. That story has apparently put him into the top 10.

Monaghan is likable and fights hard, but it’s hard to imagine him being a real player in the game. Stay tuned for more results…
