Curtis Stevens STOPS Patrick Majewski in ONE ROUND – Breaking Boxing News

Middleweight Curtis “Showtime” Stevens (25-4, 18 KOs) returned from his game effort against WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin in November to absolutely destroy Patrick Majewski (21-2, 12 KOs) in just 46 seconds on Friday night at the Resorts International Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City. Stevens immediately knocked down Mejewski with a jab, then floored him twice more before it was waved off by referee Lindsey Page.

Coming off his big win over Eddie Chambers, cruiserweight Thabiso “The Rock” Mchunu (14-1, 9 KOs) outpointed Olanrewaju Durodola (15-2, 14 KOs) over ten workmanlike rounds to claim the vacant NABF belt on Friday night at the Resorts International Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City. The methodical Mchunu dropped Durodola in round two of what was mostly a dull contest. Scores were 98-91, 97-92, 96-93.

Light heavyweight Roberto Acevedo (8-1, 5 KOs) ruined the Main Events debut of highly touted Ilshat “The Sheriff” Khusnulgatin (10-1, 6 KOs) by brutally knocking out Khusnulgatin in the first round.
