Thomas “Top Dog” Williams Wins Again in Knockout Fashion – Boxing News

Undefeated prospect light heavyweight Thomas Williams Jr. (16-0, 11 KOs) scored a spectacular first round KO over Cornelius White (21-3, 16 KOs) on Friday night at the Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton, Washington. Williams dropped White in round one, but White turned the tables and floored Williams. Williams then responded by flooring White again to end it. Time was 2:49. Round of the year so far.

In a big upset, journeyman super middleweight Eddie Hunter (10-9-2, 3 KOs) scored a sixth round TKO over Ronald Hearns (26-5, 12 KOs). This is the fourth straight knockout loss for Hearns, who is the son of ring legend Tommy Hearns.

In his first bout since suffering his first career loss (via controversial stoppage against Derek Chisora last July), heavyweight Malik Scott (36-1-1, 13 KOs) scored a second round TKO over Grover Young (7-12-1, 4 KOs). Time was 1:51. Young has now dropped five straight.
