Dereck Chisora Vs. Kevin “Kingpin” Johnson: Really? Really? – Snoozefeast Boxing Alert

It was announced today at a press conference in London that heavyweight contender Dereck “Del Boy” Chisora will face Kevin “Kingpin” Johnson on February 15th at the Copper Box Arena in London. Chisora will share the bill with Tyson Fury with an eye on meeting Fury in a rematch in the summer. Promoter Frank Warren stated that he would like Fury-Chisora to be a WBO title eliminator and stage the bout at West Ham’s Upton Park stadium. Chisora and Fury were complimentary to each other, but Fury had harsh words for ex-world champion David Haye, who twice pulled out of fights against him. “He’s a f—ing b–ch and he wouldn’t fight,” stated Fury. Chisora’s opponent Johnson is coming off a poor performance against Christian Hammer in December. Fury’s foe is Gonzalo Omar Basile of Argentina.
