Dereck Chisora DOMINATES Kevin Johnson – BRITISH BOXING NEWS & PPV RESULTS

Dereck Chisora, 20-4, 13 KO’s, tried very hard to make a fight happen, but Kevin Johnson, 29-5-1, 14 KO’s, would not allow it. There was a lot of talk before the fight from Johnson, but he apparently forgot that he was in a boxing ring tonight. Chisora desperately tried to make him fight and actually caught him in round five and dropped him, but it was survival mode for Johnson and he did what he does in his big fights. Much like his fights with Tyson Fury and Vitali Klitschko, Johnson did not try to win. He just wanted to go the 12 rounds and stay away from any punishment.
The decision was unanimous and the scores were 118-109, 119-108, 118-109. Johnson should be fined for this continual lack of effort. He is basically quitting every fight from the opening bell and should not be allowed to have any more big opportunities. What is a shame is that Johnson has a lot of potential to be a top heavyweight but he doesn’t have the guts to make his break.
Chisora is now on a collision course with Tyson Fury and that fight will certainly be a lot more exciting than this match with Johnson.
