Former World Champion Jorge Arce Returns to the Ring – Breaking Boxing News

Multi-division world champion Jorge “Travieso” Arce (62-7-2, 47 KOs) returns March 8 at the in Macroplaza in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico against Brazilian Aldimar Silva Santos (19-7, 10 KOs) in a scheduled ten round featherweight bout.

Jorge Arce: “I’ve stayed in the gym since I started the year because the plan was always to fight in March. I want to fight for the world featherweight championship but go step by step. For now we need to concentrate on our next fight and deliver a great show to the people of Nogales, which has always supported me very well.”

Also on the card is local hero and former world title challenger David “The Destroyer” Lopez (41-13-1, 23 KOs) who will face unbeaten Jose “Bolivita” Uzcategui (21-0, 17 KOs) in an intriguing ten round middleweight clash.
