Former world champion Vivian Harris (32-9-2, 19 KOs), who took the fight on late notice, won a ten round majority decision over Jorge “Maromerito” Paez Jr. (37-5-1, 22 KOs) in the welterweight main event on Saturday night at the Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico. Scores were 96-94, 96-94 Harris, 95-95. Three straight wins now for Harris, who used his experience to not let “Maromerito” fight his fight.
