LSU Defeats ULM – Breaking College Football News

LSU’s offense knocked away the cobwebs in the second half as they defeated the ULM Warhawks 31-0. LSU’s defense was very stingy, as they have shutout opponents for the second week. I loved the fact that the running game was established early. LSU has a slew of running backs, each of them capable of carrying the team to victory. Whether the ball is placed in the hands of the veteran, Kenny Hilliard, or the true freshman, Leonard Fournette, Tiger fans can feel confident that their backs will etch out positive yards.

We often credit the running backs, but truth be told, a good offensive line and good blocking are often the key to a successful run. Shout out to Junior Tight End Dillon Gordon for his excellent blocking in today’s performance. The LSU offense tallied up 219 rushing yards and 153 passing yards in today’s victory. History was made in that LSU achieved its 400th win inside of Tiger Stadium. GEAUX Tigers!!

The challenge gets tougher next week as the Tigers battle the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Tiger Stadium. LSU’s offense will have to combine balanced play calling and consistency on defense if they are to remain undefeated.
