November 24, 2012. A day that is permanently etched in the mind of Owasso Rams football fans. It was on that day that the Rams started off frigid, much like ambient temperature, in an eventual thriller against Norman North. Owasso would battle back from a 21 point deficit, but fell short as they were denied the opportunity to play for a State Championship, falling to the Timberwolves by a score of 49-42.
September 26, 2014. Payback looming? The Owasso Rams (3-0) are riding a wave of confidence stemming from last week’s victory over the Jenks Trojans. A two-decade plus losing streak was snapped, as the Rams defeated the Trojans 7-6. Norman North (2-1) is looking to turn things around, as they lost a close game to Westmore 48-41.
Will Friday’s game at Norman North be the offensive showcase that it was 2 years ago? Or will the game mimic the defensive showdowns that the Rams have been engaging in this season?
