Arthur Abraham Beats Paul Smith – Boxing News

WBO super middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (41-4, 28 KOs) scored a twelve round unanimous decision over Paul Smith (35-4, 20 KOs) on Saturday night at the Sparkassen Arena in Kiel, Germany. Abraham was mostly in command over the first six rounds. Smith rallied midway and the rest of the rounds were close. Scores were 117-111, 117-111, 119-109.

On the undercard, former middleweight title challenger Matthew Macklin (30-5, 20 KOs) outpointed Jose Yebes (12-5-1, 5 KOs) over eight rounds. Macklin showed some ring rust early, but took over as the bout progressed.

Super middleweight KO artist Vincent Feigenbutz (16-1, 15 KOs) scored a third round KO over Guram Natsulishvili (8-2, 6 KOs).

Cruiserweight contender Mateusz Masternak (33-2, 24 KOs) logged a fifth round TKO over Ben Nsafoah (15-12-2, 8 KOs).
Unbeaten cruiserweight Noel Gevor (14-0, 8 KOs) scored a seventh round TKO over Tamas Lodi (14-4-1, 11 KOs).

Unbeaten light heavyweight Enrico Koelling (17-0, 6 KOs) stopped Daniel Regi (23-11, 12 KOs) in five rounds.

Jr middleweight Fouad El Massoudi (11-4, 1 KO) outpointed previously unbeaten Arman Torosyan (13-1-1, 10 KOs) over six.
