An an exciting boxing event on Saturday, December 13, at The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will be officially announced on Monday in Los Angeles. Headlining is former two-division world champion Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley, Jr (31-1, 12 KOs), of Palm Springs, Calif., making his ring comeback against one-time interim world champion Diego “La Joya” Chaves (23-2, 19 KOs), of Buenos Aires, in a 12-round welterweight clash. In the co-feature, World Boxing Association (WBA) interim super lightweight world champion Mauricio “El Maestro” Herrera (21-4, 7 KOs), of Riverside, Calif., will be making his first title defense against Jose Benavidez (21-0, 15 KOs), of Phoenix, AZ.
