LSU has 5,000 reasons to remember Saturday’s 10-7 upset of previously 3rd ranked Ole Miss. In their excitement stemming from the defensive victory that had just taken place, the fans stormed the field. Every faux pas has a consequence, and this one was a $5,000 fine levied by the SEC. Yet, Tiger fans would not scoff at a second offense in three weeks as they host their arch nemesis Alabama. The game is scheduled for Saturday, November 8 at 7:00 PM Central Time. The Tigers will make good use of this bye week in preparation for the Crimson Tide… and perhaps a little fund raising, as the fine for a second offense of fans storming the field is up to $25 K.
