Next Round of WWE Cuts Looming? Superstars Concerned – WWE News

With the WWE making their 3rd quarter financial announcements today, there’s concern among the locker room that some Superstars who haven’t regularly been appearing on WWE TV will be released soon.
Rumored names on the chopping block are Zack Ryder, Fandango, and Curtis Axel.
There’s a good chance Axel can/will be retained in a backstage capacity and/or also repackaged. Fandango may be repackaged as well, as he’s a solid performer but his current gimmick has ran it’s course. As for Ryder? He may be the one on the chopping block. Ryder hasn’t been much use to the company recently, he’s currently just an internet personality and is rarely used as an in-ring jobber.
We’ll see if the WWE does decide to make a round of cuts for their 4th quarter, or if this is just a rumor to motivate the locker room to step up and retain their spots.
