Boxing Card Finalized for Fight Night 2014

Press ReleaseFight For Children, today announced the final boxing lineup for the 25th annual Fight Night fundraiser set for Thursday, Nov. 13. Please note that the boxing card has changed slightly due to boxer injuries. In partnership with the World Boxing Council, for the first time ever, Fight Night 2014 will feature two sanctioned championship bouts.

Attendees will watch Antoine Douglas face off against Don Mouton in the first bout and then the championship fights will take center ring. Ava “The Lady of Boxing” Knight will defend her title against Lupita Martinez in a 10 round battle. Then undefeated super flyweight champion Carlos “Principe” Cuadras will take on Marvin Mabait of the Philippines in a 12-round super-flyweight championship bout overseen by the World Boxing Council.

In addition to championship boxing bouts, numerous legendary boxers will be in attendance, including Gerry Cooney, Larry Holmes, Ray Mancini, Aaron Pryor, Roberto Duran, Mia St. John, and Eric Morales.

Fight Night brings together more than 2,000 heavyweights of business, government, entertainment and philanthropy gather to raise the critical funds needed to support Fight For Children’s mission of bringing early education and healthcare to low income children.
