Gianluca Branco DEFEATS Rafal Jackiewicz to Win the European Welterweight Belt

reyesglovesheaderGianluca Branco (49-3-1, 23 KOs) won the vacant European welterweight title when Rafal Jackiewicz (46-12-2, 21 KOs) didn’t come out for round seven due to a knee injury. Branco, who was down in the third and in the fourth rounds, is now two-division European champion.

Other results: Light heavyweight Alessandro Sinacore (9-0, 5 KOs) won a six round decision against Ivan Stupalo (9-8, 1 KO); Middleweight Andrea Manco (10-0-1, 4 KOs) won a six round decision against Ruslans Pojonisevs (15-35-1, 11 KOs); Super lightweight Andrea Scarpa won a six round decision against Luigi Mantegna and finally Croatian heavyweight Josip Granic won his pro debut with a four decision against Janis Ginters.

OPI 2000 (Salvatore, Alessandro and Christian Cherchi) promoted the show with Italia 1 televising in Italy.
