Brian Rose – Carson Jones HEATS UP – British Boxing News

Brian Rose (26-2-1, 8 KOs) will face Carson Jones (36-10-2, 26 KOs) for the WBC International light middleweight title at the MEN Arena in Manchester on Friday January 23. Rose unsuccessfully challenged for the WBO jr middleweight title earlier in the year and continues his charge to a second shot with a tough test against Jones, who is familiar in the UK after he gave Kell Brook the fight of his life in July 2012 and returning for a rematch last summer. Rose-Jones is on the undercard of Anthony Crolla’s WBA lightweight title challenge against Richar Abril.
