WWE TLC Preview & Predictions

WWE Logo

WWE’s annual Tables, Ladders and chairs pay per view is this Sunday night and we have a pretty solid card to look forward to seeing. Will it top Thursday’s NXT Special on the WWE Network? I don’t think so, but hey that’s why they’re reaching for the brass rings, right?

Jack Swagger vs. Rusev (United States Championship)

With Zeb Colter injured, Swagger has reemerged poised to exact revenge from their previous feud and also win Rusev’s title. I expect with the build his character has gotten so far though, that Rusev should retain his belt.

AJ Lee vs. Nikki Bella (Divas Championship)

Rumors swirl and we don’t have all the facts, but……Rumor has it that AJ Lee is leaving the WWE after TLC. Could this be true? I’m not sure, but either way I see Nikki retaining.

Erick Rowan vs. Big Show (Steel Stairs match)

Rowan is being built, Big Show should put him over pretty big in this match. Expect a lot of interesting and brutal bumps.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Luke Harper (Ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship)

This will be one of the premier matches on the show. I expect Harper to retain, but it will be in a screwy way after an amazing match. Seeing how the ladder match is a perfect gimmick match for Ziggler i can’t see him losing cleanly.

The Usos vs. Damien Mizdow and the Miz (Tag Team Championship)

I really don’t know why this is the match they’ve gone with, but it is what it is. I expect this to be the generic time filler entertainment type match with the champs retaining via disqualification.

Ryback vs. Kane (Chairs match)

The Big Guy vs The former Big Red Machine…Expect BRUTALITY and DESTRUCTION and for the veteran Kane to put Ryback over in a big way.

Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt (TLC match)

TABLES AND LADDERS AND CHAIRS, OH MY!!!!!! THIS…THIS is the spotlight of the event. The mysterious and eerily clever Bray Wyatt vs this generation’s version of Brian Pillman in Dean Ambrose. I expect this match to be filled with everything. Spots galore and masterful in ring psychology. As for the winner it would make sense for Wyatt to win, but Ambrose is the fan favorite and WWE may just run with his current popularity.

Seth Rollins vs. John Cena (Tables match)

The traditional predictable match…John Cena wins and sets up him vs Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble and Rollins gets involved in a feud with the returning Randy Orton. Should be fun to watch, but what on earth are they doing with their title?
