Graves NXT Segment Meant to be Shot at CM Punk?

And the shots keep on coming from both sides…We’ve seen CM Punk and the WWE going back and forth a lot lately. But never directly towards Punk. The WWE likes the subtle approach, like we saw on the WWE NXT Takeover: R Evolution pre-show this past week.

Remember when former wrestler Corey Graves revealed that WWE’s “world class doctors” advised him to retire after concussion related issues and how Graves is staying with the company in an announcer role? Well…That segment had been planned previously, but was changed to partially be a shot at CM Punk, specifically where Graves puts over WWE’s doctors as “world class”, how they identified his problem, and did the right thing at the end of the day. He even touched on how he still has a job with the company.

Does Punk care? Probably not, but clearly both sides are going to continue to be childish on the matter.
