WWE Tough Enough Return Notes

According to PWNewsletter, WWE Tough Enough is returning on the USA Network, the new season will begin airing some time after WrestleMania 31. It’s also being rumored that the reality show will be taped at the WWE Performance Center in Florida.

Before reviving Tough Enough for a 3rd installment, plans were scrapped last summer, the idea was to have all WWE developmental talents on the show, but based on the casting call issued this week, pro wrestling experience is not a requirement for the new season so we’ll see how that goes. It was also revealed that this season will have a different format than in previous Tough Enough seasons. We know that the newest element added will have some live TV aspects to it.

There’s also nothing to be said on who the Tough Enough coaches will be. WWE legend Bill DeMott tweeted that he will be on the show, but that’s all we’ve heard. WWE had planned for Steve Austin to host the Tough Enough show they wanted to film in 2014, but his name has not been attached to this new season yet…Probably because of the success of his current reality show Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge.

I’ll keep you updated on Tough Enough’s return as more is revealed.
