PorterBy “Bad” Brad Berkwitt

Tonight Shawn Porter, 26-1-1, 16 KO’s defeated Adrien Broner, 30-2, 22 KO’s by a unanimous decision in front of a lively Las Vegas crowd at the MGM Grand. Broner, a first class loser as a person, but in fairness, a damn good fighter, got taken to school tonight by a classy in the ring and out, Porter. Even in the post fight interview in the ring, Porter showed class and Broner talked about his bank account and how great he is! No props to Porter, but he doesn’t need them from Broner! Where was Broner’s father with his hair brush after his son got his ass whopped?

Referee Tony Weeks who usually does a good job, was horrible tonight letting Broner get away with flagrant fouls and lots of holding. Finally, in the 11th round, he took a point which should have been about three to that point from Broner.

Even Floyd Mayweather, JR. didn’t come into the ring to stand next to Broner because the stink was so bad….

Porter Vs Brook II should be made next.
