Oy Vay are you going to hear it today… What a week. My Sadie had her meshunga card group over the house for a Bridge Tournament. Have you ever had 8 old birds who yak, yak and yak some more about gossip on tenants in their condos? Sadie is such a pill. She looks at me with the funniest faces as these old birds go on and on.

Mike Tyson…. I can remember seeing him in the NY Daily News and the NY Post newspapers. It was a time when they still really covered boxing and every fight even the building ones, he was featured in the sports section. Newspapers have given way to the internet for years, but they also still exist and need to cover our beloved sport of boxing. If it can return to regular TV, it certainly can return to print as well!

Canelo Alvarez – Miguel Cotto… If the fight ever happens and Cotto grows a set of bagels to take it, here is my call. Canelo by 7th round KO. Remember I said it here.

Bill Cosby… Putz Alert! So he gave young chicks Quaaludes to have sex many years ago, but loves to run off his mouth about what is wrong in society which he has every right to do. However, he is a hypocrite to talk about others when his backyard is full of shit! You bet I said it. (Don’t you delete that Bradley)

The minute this story broke, I thought about the REV Jesse Jackson counseling my old Golf buddy Bill Clinton about infidelity, but the entire time, he is knocking the Bobbysox off a young chickadee who he has a love child with and he was married. Oy Vay!

My Pal Al (“Bad” Brad’s Father)… It was the early 70’s and Al loved taking Bradley to the movies which many times I would go with them. Well, we are on Mamaroneck Ave in Mamaroneck, NY at a theater that I think is still on the Avenue. Al was taking Bradley to see The Aristocats and in he walks with a big brown paper bag with popcorn in it and the butter all greasy at the bottom of the bag. The manager tells Al, “Sir, you cannot bring that in.” Al looks at him and says, “sure I can pal”. Would you like to bet me on that? He gave the guy his Joe Pesci (Goodfellas look) and all bets were off. The manager not only let Al in, he ushered Al, Bradley and I to our seats. One word, HILARIOUS.

The Chutzpah Award… The Chutzpah Award goes to legendary singer Glen Campbell. Bradley called me last week to DVR the CNN documentary, “I’LL BE ME” on Campbell which he said was fantastic. Sadie and I watched it the other day, and I have to tell you, I always loved Glen’s voice and his great body of work. Seeing him a few times over the years, I can say that this gentleman sounded just as good live as he did on albums.

To see him now with Alzheimer’s and that he went on a Farewell Tour a few years ago, where he struggled many nights, but still wowed his fans, moved both Sadie and I to tears. If what he did on those stages with his God given talent didn’t amaze you, than I have no idea what will. It took huge bagels for Glen to go on tour and I admire him all that more for doing it. This is a MUST WATCH documentary.
