RSR Weight Class Rankings UPDATED – Most Comprehensive in Boxing TODAY

At Heavyweight, there are no changes, although early and brutal knockouts by prospects Joseph Parker and Dillian Whyte have put the rest of the division on notice as they inch closer towards contention.

At Middleweight, #6 Daniel Jacobs defended his “regular” WBA title against unranked Sergio Mora, Jacobs will maintain his ranking.

At Junior Middleweight, unranked Brian Rose defeats #17 Carson Jones. As a result Brian Rose will enter at #17, while Jones will fall to #19. Ramon Alvarez will exit to make room for Rose. Other fighters may rise or fall due to these changes.

At Welterweight, #13 Danny Garcia stopped #10 Paulie Malignaggi. As a result Danny Garcia will rise to #9 and Paulie Malignaggi will exit due to retirement. Errol Spence will enter at #20. Other fighters may rise or fall due to these changes.

At Lightweight, unranked Olympic Gold Medalist Luke Campbell stopped #18 Tommy Coyle. As a result Luke Campbell will enter at #17 and Coyle will fall to #20. Jose Zepeda will exit to make room for Campbell. #9 Emiliano Marsili had a tune up victory over Gamaliel Diaz and will maintain his ranking. Other fighters may rise or fall due to these changes.

At Bantamweight, #4 Juan Carlos Payano defended his “Super” WBA world title against unranked Rau’shee Warren by controversial split decision, in a fight were the vast majority of boxing pundits believed Warren was the deserved winner. Going by the “official” result Payano maintains his #4 ranking, but as was done with the controversial Pascal-Gonzalez, bout the losing fighter (who won in most people’s eyes) will receive a ranking. Warren will enter the rankings taking the #20 spot. Julio Ceja will exit to make room for Warren.
