Randall Bailey Adds Another KO to his Fight Record – Breaking Boxing News

RBFormer two-division world champion Randall “The Knock-Out King” Bailey (45-8, 39 KOs) thrilled the South Korean fans on Sunday night with a spectacular seventh round knockout of Shusaku Fujinaka of Japan. The bout took place at the Inchon Seonhak Boxing Stadium in South Korea. Round one was more of a warm up round for both fighters but Bailey cut Fujinaka in round two with a punch. The veteran Bailey exploited this by attacking with a variety of punches including some powerful uppercuts. Fujinaka hung tough and just kept coming forward.

It looked like Bailey might be on his way to a decision when out of nowhere Bailey sent Fujinaka crashing to the canvas in round seven. Fujinaka beat the count but was unable to stand up on his own. The referee then stopped the fight.

Bailey won the vacant WBO Asian Pacific welterweight title. “I’m real proud of Randall. He really excited the local fans with his performance. Randall and I are headed to the WBO Convention (in Orlando, Florida) at the end of the month and we’ll discuss his immediate future at that time,” said his promoter Andy Kim (AK Promotions).
