RSR Boxing Rankings UPDATED

At Cruiserweight, #9 Victor Ramirez battled to a draw with unranked Ovill McKenzie. Ramirez will fall to #10 as a result. Other fighters may rise or fall due to these changes.

At Junior Welterweight, #7 Viktor Postol defeated #1 Lucas Matthysse by 10th round KO to win the vacant RSR world championship. #6 Adrien Broner defeated #18 Khabib Allakhverdiev by 12th round TKO. #13 Antonio Orozco defeated #8 Humberto Soto by a decision that could have gone either way despite wide scoring. As a result Postol is the new world champion, Matthysse falls to #2, Broner maintains at #6 while Allakhverdiev falls to #20. Orozco rises to #7 while Soto maintains at #8. Eduard Troyanovsky enters the rankings at #19. Other fighters may rise or fall due to these changes.

At Lightweight, (#11 at 130 pounds) Argenis Mendez moved up in weight and defeated #4 Miguel Vasquez by close decision. Mendez will enter at #5 while Vasquez falls to #6. #20 Tommy Coyle exits to make room for Mendez. Other fighters may rise or fall due to these changes.

At Junior Lightweight, # 10 Jose Pedraza won a close and disputed decision over unranked Edner Cherry. As a result Pedraza will maintain his ranking and Cherry will enter at #20, with Algenis Mendez leaving the rankings due to moving up in weight.

At Bantamweight, #6 Paul Butler made short work of unranked Hector Guzman winning by KO in the 1st round. Butler will maintain his #6 ranking.

In the Pound for Pound rankings, #16 Lucas Matthysse will exit the rankings following his loss to Viktor Postol. Postol will enter the rankings at #15. Other fighters may rise or fall due to these changes.
